In a zoo in Russia, this poor chimpanzee baby found himself abandoned by his mother and left to fend for himself. A zoo employee took pity on the chimp and decided to bring him home only to discover that her pet mastiff immediately took the chimp under her “paw” so to speak, and treated the chimp like one of her own puppies. The two are inseparable and make an adorable couple, and even if the chimp has learned to eat from a food bowl on the ground by standing on all fours, at least he’s growing up with a role model…right? It’s all very strange, but we love animals and have always been supportive of unconventional families.
